NudeFood Bars
I am generally not driven towards food in bar form because most of the time it tastes bland and contains many preservatives. Enter: NudeFood! These bars are packed full of organic ingredients. For example, here is the ingredient list for the Chocolate Hanuman Chai bar:
“Chocolate Hanuman Chai NudeFood Bar Ingredients: California Almonds, *Sunflower Seeds, *Date Syrup, *Fair Trade Dark Chocolate (chocolate liquor, cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla extract,) *Crystallized Ginger, *Dates, *Tapioca Syrup, *Coconut flour, *Golden Flax Seed, Hanuman Chai Karha (Ginger, Cardamom, Turmeric, Saffron, Other Spices,) Pink Himalayan Salt, *Madagascar Vanilla Extract, *Cinnamon (* denotes Certified Organic).”
I’m TOTALLY impressed with these bars. They taste like the real thing, not like a chalky protein bar. It’s icing on the cake that these bars are gluten free, non-gmo & organic! My favorite flavors are the Walnut Brownie Mint and Mocha Coconut Cream.
Licious Cookies
The Licious organic cookies are a treat that my husband has been enjoying as well! After he tried his first bite he said, “These are GOOD!” Many “healthy” cookies simply don’t taste very good. But these cookies are an exception. Here is an ingredient list from the Cherry Berry Licious Cookie:
“Licious Organics “Unbaked” Cherry Berry (Nut Free) Raw Honey Cookie Ingredients: Gluten-Free Oats, Raw Honey, Coconut, Cherries, Blueberries, Sunflower Seed Oil, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Lemon Juice, Utah Pink Salt.”
I love that these cookies are USDA organic and are a perfect treat to have around for our healthful 5 year old (who LOVES to snack!). The Chocolate Peanut Butter are my favorite!
Breakfast Boosts
In my morning blender bottle, I always make a conscious effort to include some healthy fats like flax or chia seed. These breakfast boosts fit in perfectly to my normal routine! They are full of high quality, organic ingredients, as you can see in the Coconut Pecan Breakfast Boost:
“Coconut Pecan Probiotic Ultra-Dense Breakfast Boost: California Almonds, *Sunflower Seeds, *Golden Flax Meal, *Coconut Palm Sugar, *Coconut Cream Powder, *Hemp Protein, *Pecans, *Chia Seeds, Live Probiotic Culture (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30 6086,) *Cinnamon (* denotes Certified Organic).”
My favorite flavor is definitely the Coconut Pecan. The spirulina has a greeny, herby flavor and the berry blend has a nice sweet zip to it.
